Get to Know: Rica Bath & Body
Comments Off on Get to Know: Rica Bath & Body

We’re very excited to have recently become a stockist of a bath & body line called Rica! Ricabody_logo

Owned by Dr. Kristina Ivy (a holistic clinician specializing in women’s health), Rica is a natural skincare line that was born in the South. With recipes dating back to Ivy’s great, great grandmother, Rica products are certainly tried and true. Screen Shot 2015-09-22 at 6.15.41 PM

What’s cool about Rica is that their products are very fresh- they are made to order daily and are not pulled from an inventory (how awesome is that?!) They mix their products with organic and locally grown ingredients (whenever possible), and everything is made without synthetic preservatives, colorants, parabens, sulfates or petroleum. To top it all, everything is made in the USA in their Brooklyn NY production facility!

Here’s a look at some of their products:

Finally Fall!
Comments Off on Finally Fall!

Fall is officially here, and if you’re like us, you’ve already been in the mindset for a few weeks now! Given our anticipation, we decided to pull together a selection of items that we are feeling this season:

fall

Pillows: Loving the neutral with the simple, yet unique ties! Ayers Home Collection is available at Isabella.

Throws: You can never go wrong with a cozy cable-knit, especially with tassels! This staple throw will fit into any style room.

Cardigan: Oversized sweaters and cardigans are a must to bring in the chilly weather- Madewell has got you covered.

Booties: A staple pair of booties will come in handy this Fall. Madewell does it again. (We’re big Madewell fans if you couldn’t tell) 🙂

Scarf: This floral scarf from Pom Pom at Home is stylish AND functional.

Candle: Nest Pumpkin Chai…need we say more.

Food: Whenever you get sick of pumpkin desserts (if that’s possible), try this Apple Pie Bar recipe.

Happy Fall!

We carry a variety of different artists in the shop, but the pieces we seem to get the most questions about are the works by a California-based design house called Zoe Bios Creative. Let’s get to know them:

Moody Blues & Gold
Comments Off on Moody Blues & Gold

One color combination that we’re loving right now is the is the use of moody blues & gold together. If you keep up with design trends, you may have noticed that indigo is really in right now- it’s such a versatile color that can be paired with so many different hues. While we love the use of indigo and other shades of ‘moody blues’ by themselves, we think that adding gold can really give a space a calming, elegant feel. We made an inspiration board of a few products that we love together!
