Outdoor Spaces We’re Loving

The weather has been so nice here lately and it’s got us craving as much time outside as possible! With summer quickly approaching, now’s the perfect time to spruce up your patio for cookouts, drinks outside, and long nights with friends, and we’ve got just the inspiration for you. Take a look at some of the outdoor spaces that we’re loving lately!

Patterned Patio Floors:

We are obsessed with these spaces with patterned floors. Being outside should be a bright, fun experience, and these floors really help to accomplish that!

Love the built-in seating nooks in Design Love Fest’s outdoor space (as well as the color scheme!):

Emily Henderson’s bright blue and white tile really pops and takes this patio to a whole new level of amazing!

This patio from A Beautiful Mess is a painted pattern right on top of a concrete slab- it looks so good, you can hardly tell it’s not tiled!abm

Pavers, concrete slabs, and wood planks are all great materials for your patio floor, as well, and are often times more economical than a patterned tile.

Love the different seating groupings here:

String lights (and lots of plants) for the win:

Loving the stark contrast here:

Obsessed with this cozy, boho-chic outdoor setup! Adding an outdoor rug can really help to create warmth for an outdoor space.

We definitely wouldn’t mind being transported to the Mediterranean with a patio like this 😉

Create a super moody outdoor space by using shades of dark grays and black, accentuated with dim lighting:

After seeing all of these inspiration pics, we can’t wait to get started sprucing up our own patios! We hope this helps to create your perfect patio space 🙂

Trending: Tassels
Comments Off on Trending: Tassels

We have been all about tassels lately and we’re not ashamed! This trend has been popping up everywhere, from home decor to fashion. Tassels come in a variety of sizes and colors, and create a fun visual and textural element to any item. Take a look at some of our tasseled faves!

As opposed to the more vibrant colors you see in Summer, the muted tones in these tassels are perfect for Fall.

But of course, it’s always acceptable to have a fun pop of color anytime of the year 😉

We love the added texture that tassels bring to a piece of furniture, whether folded on your bed or draped over a sofa or chair.

Mad About Plaid
Comments Off on Mad About Plaid

One trend that we’re all over this season is the use of plaid in home decor & furnishings. Plaid is often thought of as a very traditional pattern, but if used on the right piece, this classic pattern can fit in with many different styles. Take a look below at some of our favorite uses of plaid in the home:

We love this Fall-inspired room by Emily Henderson- plaid everywhere!
